Is there a single piece, stand alone recording system that I can buy to accommodate all my instruments without having to go out and buy 20 different things just to record 4 to 8 tracks? If not what do I have to get?

The hedonistic days of the big budget recording contracts, world class producers, premier studios that were like an adult Disneyland, are no more or at least seem to be heading in that direction. Home studios have become all the rage. Those rock star dreams could really become reality.

Not so cheap home recording equipment this time! With your own home recording rig, you can be more selective than a general purpose studio needs to be. So you can put together an excellent facility to meet your needs, even with a limited budget. No physical mixing desk required?

Wal-Mart recently terminated a Wal-Mart systems technician for intercepting text messages and recording telephone conversations without authorization. The calls and text messages being recorded were between Wal-Mart's PR and a New York Times reporter.
